THANK YOU to everyone who joined us for the premiere of “the last supper”!

I am feeling so much gratitude for last weekend’s premiere. We were able to share the the last supper for the first time with over 160 people over 4 performances.  

For those of you who weren’t able to attend, I invited the audience to offer their feedback - what they felt, thought, or craved after watching. I’m sitting reading card after card of your input: 117 handwritten notes in total!

These thoughtful, deeply personal, and brilliant comments have 1) given me so many ideas for where this work should go next, and 2) confirmed that this first iteration achieved what we hoped: it made people think.

One person wrote: “[The performance] reminded me how precious life is and how every decision has an impact. Please keep making art like this – it’s so important.”

Reading this made me pause. Thank you to whoever wrote this, and to all in attendance for giving the gift of your responses. Seeing 117 people stay to share reflections was a shockingly meaningful affirmation that this dance was worth making and is worth continuing.
