Rachael Lieblein-Jurbala Dance Works has been creating and presenting narrative-driven dance in New York City since 2020. Our work explores humanistic themes from obedience and conflict, to grief, lineage, and connection - using movement to ask sociological and philosophical questions and to spark conversation.
We strive to make dances that are universally relatable, carrying audiences through episodic narratives that invite reflection, self-awareness, and empathy. If someone turns to a friend or asks themselves a question after a performance, we’ve done our job. It’s about flexing the reflection muscle, which we believe is, over time, strength-training for the empathy muscle. By supporting our work, you help sustain this creative process. Every donation - no matter the size - directly supports our dancers, rehearsal space, and the production costs that make each performance possible. Your generosity makes this work possible - thank you for believing in it, and for being part of it. |
