rachael lieblein-jurbala

Rachael Lieblein-Jurbala (she/her) is a New York City-based dancer, choreographer, producer, and arts administrator. Her choreography has been presented at numerous venues across NYC, including the Tank Theater, WAXworks, Green Space, WestFest, Uptown Rising, and the Spark Theatre Festival. Rachael serves as Program Manager for the Dance Education Laboratory (DEL) at the 92nd Street Y, NY, and is co-producer and curator of the annual WestFest Dance Festival in the West Village. She serves on the board of the Sasamani Foundation - an organization dedicated to increasing access to education and employment opportunities for women and girls in Bagamoyo, Tanzania. Rachael holds a Bachelor's degree in Dance and Sociology from Connecticut College, and has studied Costume Design at Arts University Bournemouth and trained at the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance.

ashley barattini

Ashley Barattini is from Cape Cod, Massachusetts and graduated from Connecticut College where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in both Dance and Mathematics. While at Connecticut College, she worked in and performed for intensive residencies with artists from the Batsheva Dance Company, Shen Wei Dance Arts, Rennie Harris Puremovement, and others. She currently performs for Rachael Lieblein-Jurbala and Augie Sherman in New York City, where she resides. Ashley spends her summers teaching and choreographing a variety of dance styles at the Beth Walsh Dance Centre.

jackie dodds

Jackie Dodds is a Brooklyn based freelance movement artist and performer. She received her BFA in Dance Performance and Choreography from East Carolina University and has also studied in Kenya and Amsterdam. While living in New York, she has performed at Bloom Emerging Artists Showcase, GroWorks, Snapshots Dance Exchange, Sparks Theater Festival, Westfest Dance Festival, as well as Somasoup on a beautiful farm in upstate NY. She is excited to share that this November and December, she will be traveling to explore european dance and culture!

macie harris

Macie Harris (she/her) is a NYC based concert and commercial dance artist and choreographer. In May of 2023 Macie graduated summa cum laude from George Mason University with a BFA in Dance and a minor in Arts Management. Post-graduation, Macie has worked with The Pocket Fuel Groovers, Keigwin + Company, Alison Cook Beatty Dance, Netflix, City Lyric Opera, Theater for Young Audiences at the 92NY, John Heginbotham, Wendy Biller, and Miranda Stuck. She feels fortunate to have performed at Arts on Site, Dixon Place, The Cell Theatre, The 92NY, The Martha Graham Studio Theater, and The Tank since living in NYC. Macie is thrilled to be performing in Rachael Lieblein-Jurbala’s first evening length work, “fifty degrees” at Arts on Site!

quetzali hart

Quetzali Hart is a New York based dancer and choreographer who was adopted from Guatemala and grew up in Salem, Oregon. She first began her dance training at the age of three at Premiere Academy of Performing Arts under the direction of Sara Alvarez. In 2019, Quetzali was accepted to the University of North Carolina School of the Arts as a contemporary dance major. Her education and training at UNCSA included Cunningham, West African, Limón, and Counter Technique. While attending she performed works by Jose Limon and Igal Perry, and original works by Darrell Grand Moultrie, Juel D. Lane, Ashley Linsdey, Grady Bowman and Ming Lung-Yang. In 2021, Quetzali had the opportunity to work with UNCSA alumni Garen Scribner and Dani Rowe on the viral hit Swan Lake Canceled. Quezali has also had the opportunity to work with choreographers such as Jacob Jonas, Sidra Bell, Peter Chu, Flockworks. In April of 2024, Quetzali made her New York debut performing “Shoulders Full of People” choreographed by Rachael Lieblein-Jurbala. Quetzali is currently a company member with the Artichoke Dance Company and MODArts Dance Collective.

jayde margulis

Jayde Margulis is a New York City-based performance artist. She graduated from New York University Tisch School of the Arts with a BFA in Dance in May 2022. Highlights of Jayde’s career include performing at Radio City Music Hall and The Joyce Theater, and choreographing, dancing and acting in music videos and short films. Jayde has performed works by Chelsea Thedinga, Yue Yin, Camille A. Brown, Alexander Anderson, Alexandra Damiani, Lane Gifford and Rachael Lieblein-Jurbala, among others. Most recently, Jayde produced and danced in a short film called World Needs You, which is premiering at the end of 2024. Jayde has received additional acting training from NYU Tisch, with Pablo Anrade, Ka-Ling Cheung and Jose Joaquin Perez, and has attended workshops with Joseph Pearlman.

christine west

Christine West hails from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where she danced at a local studio until continuing her training at Shenandoah University, double majoring in both dance and spanish. During her time at the Conservatory, she performed works by choreographers and companies such as Sidra Bell, Ballet Hispánico, Tiffanie Carson and Roderick George, among others. After four years of training in classical, commercial, and contemporary dance, she graduated and moved to New York, NY to begin freelancing in the city, most notably dancing on the Today Show, in various music videos, and with many different artists and companies. She is beyond excited to be dancing with Rachael Lieblein-Jurbala in this new york.
