ARTIST STATEMENT.
Picture

It is in movement that I find an unparalleled convergence between humbleness and self-power; between being both “part of,” and wholly autonomous. My creative process takes a parallel trajectory, incorporating the artistry of the group while maintaining a strong sense of design. I am fascinated by the ways in which bodies in relationship with one other shape space.

I make work to explore questions that are complex and often unanswerable, inspired by human experience, positionality, and normality. My goal is not to find an answer to these questions, but rather to challenge, and be challenged. It is through questioning and conversation that myself, the performer, and the viewer may find empathy.
