Three Salt Three Sesame (2023)
Green Space (February 2023); Spark Theatre Festival at the TADA Theater (March 2023); WestFest Dance Festival (April 2023); WAXworks (June 2023)

Echoing the shape of grief, "Three Salt Three Sesame" is a mercurial reflection on loss, memory and remembrance. Source material is drawn from a library of loved-ones’ voicemail messages, and from reflections on the simultaneously quantifiable and infinite footprint of a life.

Choreography: Rachael Lieblein-Jurbala

Premiered by: Ashley Barattini, Kaya Blumenthal-Rothchild, Rachael Lieblein-Jurbala, and Jayde Margulis

Music: “Sala One Five” by Ploy; “Em Ocean” by Modeselektor; “Everybody Loves Somebody” by Dean Martin; “Raw Code” by Pev & Kowton; “Valentine My Funny” by F.S. Blumm and Nils Frahm; "Crooked Breath" by Felix Laband; "Opus 55" by Dustin O'Halloran
