Fix Point (2022)

Fix Point is based on the premise of the Dunning-Kruger effect: a phenomenon in which people without competence in a certain discipline tend to significantly overestimate their abilities or knowledge in that area. In other words, we lack the expertise to know what we don't know.

Because We Obeyed, Your Mile Went Unwalked (2019)

“Because We Obeyed, Your Mile Went Unwalked” explores destructive obedience. Normalized routine and a hive mentality defeat questioning and individualism. The world created is one of urgency. Movement is large and militaristic. Space is devoured.

Shells (2019)

“Shells” is a response to perpetual, mundane violence. A quartet moves together in cathartic mourning through rubble. As they remove debris, more slowly but steadily accumulates. An unending, generational cycle is lived.

Of Particular Moral Rightness (2018)

Inspired by a series of seven paintings entitled Seven Virtues: Faith, Hope, Charity, Temperance, Prudence, Fortitude, and Justice. Six of the seven works were created by Piero del Pollaiolo in 1470. The seventh painting, Fortitude, was created by Sandro Botticelli, and is his first recorded work.
